As an Assistant Professor of the Practice at Boston College, I am passionate about enhancing the learning experiences of my students. I have a bachelor's degree in biological engineering from The Ohio State University, where I also completed my doctoral degree in May 2024. My graduate research focused on creating and testing sustainable natural rubber biomedical products, such as medical gloves and endotracheal tube cuffs, that can reduce the risk of infection and allergic reactions for healthcare workers and patients. I have published five papers on this topic in peer-reviewed journals. I have also been involved in engineering education research, and I have applied the evidence-based practices to improve the delivery and outcomes of my classes. I received the Best Paper Award from the ASEE Biological and Agricultural Engineering Division for my work in this area. Through my commitment to teaching excellence, I hope to inspire future generations of engineers and lifelong learners.
